Hello, hello, hello!  And a very Happy Monday to you!

 

I hope you all had an awesome weekend.  We had an absolutely beautiful Sunday in South Wales… the sun was shining, and the sky a deep blue, littered with lovely white fluffy clouds.  So needless to say, I invested in a 10 foot swimming pool for my back garden!  The jet ski and diving board are scheduled for deliver next week 😉

 

Unfortunately, this week is forecast to be dank, damp and grey… so alas the pool will have to wait for a little while.

 

So, anyway, on with the show…

 

Happy Monday #54

 

Wow!  How quick did last week go?  Talk about blink and you miss it!

 

Nevermind, it means we’ve got a brand new Monday to get our teeth into.  A brand new week for awesomeness!  Woohoo!

 

This week I’ve got a quick, 5 minute TED video to share from volunteer Firefighter Mark Bezos.  Mark tells the story of his disappointment when he arrived at a burning house and missed the opportunity to rescue the family dog.  Instead he was asked to fetch shoes for the lady of the house:

Not every day is going to offer us a chance to save somebody’s life, but every day offers us an opportunity to affect one.
