Good morning and Happy Monday to you!
 
I hope you all had a magnificent weekend and packed lots of adventure into the past few days.  The weather here has been quite disappointing (yet again), no doubt due to our maritime climate.  
 
Being ever the optimist, I’m convinced the warm sunshine from early April is just around the corner and I’ll soon be able to put my brand new 10 foot swimming pool up in the garden 🙂

This week I have another awesome MUST WATCH video from TED.
 
This one’s a short 8.5 minutes, but the message is one that will both really make you think and potentially change your outlook on your existence… and life in general.
 
It’s called “How to believe in yourself”, by the strategic advisor Jim Cathcart (who’s was chosen as one of the Top Sales Influencers 2014):
 

Here’s some quick snippets for those of you who can’t watch the video right now:
 

• If you spend one extra hour each day studying your chosen field, you’ll be a national expert in that field in five years or less.

 

• Jim applied this principle to his own life and went from a government clerk with little aspiration to a full time speaker and trainer.

 

• Within two years he was selling the materials of the renowned motivational speaker who had influenced him to teach others.

 

• Within ten years, that same renowned motivational speaker was selling Jim’s materials all across the world.

 

• Even if you focus an extra half hour a day to your chosen field, you’ll not only change yourself… you’ll change the world around you!

 

• You were put here for a reason, so nurture your nature.
