Happy Monday!

Happy Monday to you all!  The sun is shining, it’s a brand new week and a great time to start making a difference… in your life, at your work, to the world.  To paraphrase Gandhi, the future depends on what you do today 🙂

This week, I thought I’d share with you a site that’s always cheered me up.  It’s called Not Always Right and tells the tales that sit the other side of “the customer is always right”.  In particular, I wanted to share medical stories from the Doctor side of things!  Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you… True Medical Stories:

Me: “Dermatology, how may I help you?”

Patient: “Hi, I just had an autopsy done. I’d like to know my results”

(An older gentleman calls our doctor’s office with questions about an upcoming test he is scheduled for. We talk at length about what is going to be done and why it was going to be done.)

Patient: “I’m sorry to have so many questions.”

Me: “Oh, that’s no problem. You can always call and ask for clarification when you need it.”

(I answer several more questions.)

Me: “Okay, Mr. [name]. I hope I have been able to help.”

Patient: “Thank you very much, Clara Fication! You’ve been very helpful.”
