Happy Monday everyone!

16 days ’til Christmas 😀  I sit here unfazed by that statement… because I managed to do all my Christmas shopping in less than in 25 minutes. courtesy of t’interweb.  It has nothing to do with this post, but I’m so proud I felt the need to share.  Get in there!

Right, so I’m writing this with a cat sat on one arm across my laptop, and a dog laid across my legs.  Not only do I feel like the Dr Doolittle of blogging, but I suspect my one handed typing might prove to be a little off.  Just to warn you.

So this week I’ve got the most awesome Christmas gift ever to share with you.  Awesome and highly amusing, in equal parts.

Happy Monday #35

Last week, one of my favourite sites – The Chive – shared the story of a Milton Keynes retirement home and their adventures in fundraising.

These awesome residents (aged 64 – 93) decided to create a “Golden age of cinema” themed calendar for 2015 and sell copies to raise funds for residents activities.

They dressed up as everything from the cast of Reservoir Dogs to Dirty Dancing!

Check it out – it’s worth it.  Believe me, if you haven’t seen octogenarians dressed as the cast of Star Wars, you haven’t lived!
