Happy Monday everyone!
 
And what a Monday it is, here in the UK.  The sky is blue, the sun is shining, the temperature’s a whopping 15 degrees Celsius (positively tropical for Wales in spring) and…. it’s a Bank Holiday.  Happy days 🙂
 
As it’s Easter, it’s been a 4 day weekend here in the UK.  It’s also been a weekend for that backbone of quintessential Bank Holiday fare and British Comedy… Carry On!
 
Imagine it:  nearly every single film (and there’s 31 of them!), broadcast back-to-back over 4 days.
 
A nightmare for some.  Absolute bliss for me!

And how are you all doing today?  Did you have an awesome weekend?
 
I enjoyed an action packed few days, commencing with an Easter concert on Friday.  Saturday morning saw me helping out in a Coffee Morning Fundraiser, while the afternoon was spent celebrating a birthday in a lovely little Italian restaurant.
 
If you’re not a fan of fish, avert your eyes… as I’m about to tell you how the Brodetto di Pesce (fish stew) was stunning!  How delicious is this?

If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope you enjoyed the eclipse watching on Friday.  Rocky and I spent a good few hours out the garden watching… well, I watched – he sniffed around and played with the ants.

I did take a few photos for you, but I’m afraid they’re not too impressive.  Wonderful horizontal beams of light though, don’t you think?
