Hello and Happy Monday to you all!
I hope that all of you who were celebrating had a wonderful valentine’s weekend.
So, are you all raring to go today? I’m on my 4th cup of strong black Carte Noire, so I think it’s safe to say that I am 😉
This time last year, I’d be dreading a Monday morning. I’d stay up as late as I could on a Sunday, just to eke out the weekend. But now I absolutely love a Monday – every week it’s my fresh new start and an opportunity to own all those challenges out there 😀
This week’s Happy Monday is a little later than usual – I’ve spent the morning in a Social Media Marketing workshop. Talk about an awesomely refreshing way to start the week!

I’ve now returned home to sit and work in the gorgeous (albeit cold) sunshine with a very demanding little dog.
Guess who’s not happy that he’s been cooped up with the cat, rather than meandering along the lakeside on a long winter walk? And guess who’s now playing the price? Yup, me… 😉

I stumbled upon this week’s Happy Monday last night, while I was doing something I call my “weekly recharge”. I don’t know if any of you ever do this, but I’ll often spend some time thinking about the week ahead – boosting my motivation, building my energy and laser focusing on my goals.
If you have never done this by the way, it’s definitely worth giving a go – it works!

Rocky and I went for a walk with some friends on Saturday. I’m fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the world, so this was one of the views along our walking route:
For someone with such little legs, Rocky held his own. Indeed, he’s already asked me to start saving so he can attempt K2 in 2017.
Unfortunately, the lovely Welsh rain meant we were unable to undertake the further lakeside walk we had planned with the famous Mr Shaps on Sunday. Instead we holed up in the house watching films, eating popcorn (me) and bones (Rocky).
Anyway, that’s enough about me… back to Happy Monday!
It’s minus 3 degrees, a quick peek out of my window shows me that my car resembles a rather formidable ice box, my heating has been on constant for the past three days… and it’s still cold! Needless to say, yet again I’m writing this buried beneath a blanket with Rocky the dog.
