Happy first Monday of the year!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and splendid New Year!

Does it all now seem like a distant memory?  It certainly seemed that way when I logged on Facebook last night – the amount of friends absolutely dreading this morning (the first day back in work for many) was monumental!

I remember those days… The lurching stomach.  Those echoes of your first day back to school after the summer holidays.  That fleeting thought, at the top of the stairs, whether breaking an arm actually hurts that much. read more

I’ve elected to take the week off, so I’m writing this cwtched up on my sofa with the dog.  Happy days 🙂
 
Seeing as it’s nearly Christmas day, I thought we’d stick with a festive theme this week.  Now, I don’t know about you, but I tend to spend most of time each Christmas doing one of two things: seeking out Chocolate Oranges like a pro and avoiding family photographs.

Happy Monday everyone!

16 days ’til Christmas 😀  I sit here unfazed by that statement… because I managed to do all my Christmas shopping in less than in 25 minutes. courtesy of t’interweb.  It has nothing to do with this post, but I’m so proud I felt the need to share.  Get in there!
